Jason Chaffetz: “You are laughing at the American taxpayer. I don't know who that guy works for. I am telling you, don't just sit there…”

I write today to ask you to seriously reconsider the use of such deceptive and misleading tactics.

The Department of Justice just does not get to hide things from the United States Congress.

I think this is one area where clearly the money that we are putting in has the potential to really do a huge amount of good for people's lives.

This legislation has received the endorsement of the Project on Government Oversight, and I urge my colleagues on both sides of the aisle to join me in this effort.
