Unlike most states in our Union, nearly 70 percent of the state of Utah is owned by the Federal and state government.

This should be the national imperative that drives us all to fund it properly and to truly, truly make a difference.

The legislation before you today does not convert any public land to private property.

How can we not be focussing on this? How can this not be the number one priority when we talk about budgets?
