I am grateful for the spirit of cooperation that is behind these expressions and want Senators to know how grateful I am. I say to the chairman, I would be happy to work on mining reform and, indeed, will be involved in that as well as grazing. I think it is safe to predict that I will be more closely allied with the Senator from Wyoming on both of those issues than I have been on this one. But to the degree any expertise I might bring will be listened to, I certainly will be involved.
