I do not dispute in any way, Mr. Chairman, the numbers that you have cited, but I do not want to leave the impression that all of the obstruction that has come as a result of the use of holds has come from the Minority side.

I do not think that that is a violation of anything the founders had in mind, and I do think that is something that a member of the House could never, ever do.

I think the outcry would be very, very strong. There is a huge conflict of interest here, and such an individual should not be included.

If you call an IRS agent for advice on your taxes, there is a very good chance you will get wrong advice and end up in tax court.
