The American Dream belongs to every child, including—and especially—our foster youth. This bill will provide the opportunity for states and philanthropic organizations to directly impact foster youth well into their future.

“After a catastrophic fire destroys their homes and livelihoods, the last thing wildfire victims should worry about is whether they will have to pay taxes on the disaster aid they receive to rebuild and recover,” Rep. Moore said.

I am thrilled that my bill has passed the House today and look forward to the President’s signature.

As America celebrates our 250th year, it’s only fitting that we recognize the sacrifices made that allow us the freedom we have today.
