I have an amendment at the desk. The Acting CHAIR. The Clerk will designate the amendment. The text of the amendment is as follows: Page 45, line 22, insert after the first period the following: ``Sec. 808. Exemption for certain rules ``Sections 801 through 807 of this chapter, as amended by the Regulations from the Executive in Need of Scrutiny Act of 2011 shall not apply in the case of any rule that relates to veterans or veterans affairs. This chapter, as in effect before the enactment of the Regulations from the Executive in Need of Scrutiny Act of 2011, shall continue to apply, after such enactment, to any such rule, as appropriate.''. Page 24, in the matter preceding line 10, add after the item relating to section 807 the following new item: 808. Exemption for certain rules. The Acting CHAIR. Pursuant to House Resolution 479, the gentlewoman from Wisconsin (Ms. Moore) and a Member opposed each will control 5 minutes. The Chair recognizes the gentlewoman from Wisconsin.
