Blake Moore: “I appreciate your comments and do share your frustration with the lack of consultation from this Administration on…”

It was a privilege to stand with President Trump at the Medal of Honor Museum as he signed into law my bill to enact a Medal of Honor Monument on the National Mall.

“I appreciate that they gave the money back, but why in the world is there not somebody advising them?” Moore said. “Like … this is going to be a bad look, if nothing else, other than highly, highly unethical.”

This legislation is the next and final step to giving our heroes and their families the commemoration they deserve by allowing a monument to be placed on the National Mall in Washington, DC.

As America celebrates our 250th year, it’s only fitting that we recognize the sacrifices made that allow us the freedom we have today.
