What I am saying is, if we don't have that special attention to do this at the most basic level, where we are actually helping the individuals, we are going to continue, like Mr. Taylor was highlighting, the just an enormous amount of fraud that slips through the system unless you give it that special attention.
Emphasizes the need for focused assistance to prevent fraud in unemployment systems.

“It’s just tone deaf, and it’s just not the type of stuff that we need to, you know, be dealing with right now.”
“Maybe one of the most tone-deaf things I’ve ever seen,” Moore said, “to take money from a Russian oligarch for a wedding.”
“I appreciate that they gave the money back, but why in the world is there not somebody advising them?” Moore said. “Like … this is going to be a bad look, if nothing else, other than highly, highly unethical.”
There’s no way around it — we have to reform these programs if we want to save them, if we want to make them more sustainable, we have to do it.
