The Clerk read as follows: Mr. Thornberry moves to recommit the bill H.R. 2500 to the Committee on Armed Services with instructions to report the same back to the House forthwith, with the following amendment: At the end of subtitle A of title III, add the following new section: SEC. 3__. INCREASE IN FUNDING FOR OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE. (a) Increase.--Notwithstanding the amounts set forth in the funding tables in division D, the amount authorized to be appropriated in section 301 for OPERATION & MAINTENANCE, AIR FORCE RESERVE, as specified in the corresponding funding table in section 4301, for PRIMARY COMBAT FORCES is hereby increased by $10,633,000. (b) Increase.--Notwithstanding the amounts set forth in the funding tables in division D, the amount authorized to be appropriated in section 301 for OPERATION & MAINTENANCE, AIR FORCE RESERVE, as specified in the corresponding funding table in section 4301, for DEPOT PURCHASE EQUIPMENT MAINTENANCE is hereby increased by $10,000,000.
