It doesn't make any sense to the average American that we would defund the police and push gun control at the same time.

Passage of this bill will significantly weaken protections and safeguards that are currently in place to protect communities from gun violence.

I think that it’s in their interest to make sure safety is top of mind and that nothing goes wrong.

It is not a gun problem. It is a gun-free zone problem.
