Mr. President, I move to concur in the House amendment to the Senate amendment to H.R. 2882, with further amendment No. 1804. The PRESIDING OFFICER. The clerk will report. The senior assistant legislative clerk read as follows: The Senator from Texas [Mr. Cruz] moves to concur in the House amendment to the Senate amendment to H.R. 2882, with further amendment numbered 1804. The amendment is as follows: (Purpose: To prohibit the use of funds to waive certain sanctions with respect to Iran) At the appropriate place, insert the following: Sec. __. None of the funds appropriated by this Act may be obligated or expended to make a determination or issue a waiver pursuant to-- (1) section 1245(d)(5) of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2012 (22 U.S.C. 8513a(d)(5)); or (2) section 1244(i) or 1247(f) of the Iran Freedom and Counter-Proliferation Act of 2012 (22 U.S.C. 8803(i) and 8806(f)).
