I wish to make three comments in response to Senator Inhofe's question and his thoughts that he has shared with this body. First is simply a word of thanks to the Senator from Oklahoma. That is significant, particularly when the leadership of our party is publicly urging Republicans to go the other way. I am grateful for the friendship. I am grateful for your steadfastness. I am grateful for the principled and courageous willingness of the Senator from Oklahoma to fight for the American people. I will say it makes a real difference.…”
