The Solicitor General serves as the State's chief appellate litigator. Thus, we represent our States in the U.S. Supreme Court, carefully study the work of the Court, and have a keen appreciation for the role that the Court plays in safeguarding the rule of law, including vital federalism and separation of powers principles.
