I appreciate your decades of service, and as someone who spent a significant portion of my adult life in law enforcement, I certainly am grateful, as I am sure is every Member of this Committee, for the service of the many employees of the Bureau of Prisons, many of whom risk their lives to protect innocent citizens every day.

I’m curious, would Oxford allow a student to wear a KKK robe, burn a cross on campus [and] hold up signs calling for Black people to be murdered? Of course not. That student would be expelled. And so should this one.
