“I have an amendment at the desk. The Acting CHAIR. The Clerk will designate the amendment. The text of the amendment is as follows: Add at the end of division A the following: SEC. 10017. DOMESTIC ENERGY INDEPENDENCE REPORT. Not later than 120 days after the date of enactment of this Act, the Administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency, in consultation with the Secretary of Energy, shall submit to Congress a report that identifies and assesses regulations promulgated by the Administrator during the 15- year period preceding the date of enactment of this Act that have-- (1) reduced the energy independence of the United States; (2) increased the regulatory burden for energy producers in the United States; (3) decreased the energy output by such energy producers; (4) reduced the energy security of the United States; or (5) increased energy costs for consumers in the United States.
