I hope to continue the same spirit of bipartisanship and advance an agenda to build both health and economic security for seniors.

This hearing today is one example of where the Federal Government can respond positively and constructively to the reality that families face in terms of their income instability.

This investment is about services. It is also about turning poverty jobs into family supporting jobs.

Wages need to be increased so that they are both livable and competitive.
