We need to say, no, nobody believes it is going to happen.

This committee's oversight should be focused on empowering the FIO to encourage healthy competition at home and a level playing field for U.S. insurers abroad.

We can no longer settle for the status quo of a flood insurance program that crowds out the private sector in order to subsidize insurance premiums for a few Americans at the expense of the rest of the country.

I think it is disingenuous to say, don't worry about that. I think people are worried about it.
