I believe people who are injured ought to be compensated. It was discovered that manufacturers of asbestos knew at some point before they told people who were working on it that it was dangerous. And they should have told them it was dangerous and their health was at risk and they did not do so. That is the fundamental cause of the litigation. Most plaintiffs' lawyers today involved in litigation are not proud of what has happened with asbestos. The companies have been tagged. The companies are stuck. They admit they did wrong. They are willing to compensate, as they are able to compensate.
