This morning, the Rules Committee issued announcements outlining the amendment processes for two measures likely to be on the floor next week. An amendment deadline has been set for Monday, March 13 at 3 p.m. for H.R. 1259, the VA Accountability First Act of 2007; and H.R. 1367, to improve the authority of the Secretary of Veterans Affairs to hire and retain physicians and other employees.
