The bill that has been put forward as the Democrat stimulus plan calls for the elimination of those which would amount to a tax increase over the current law of $16.7 billion in 2004 and $14.8 billion in 2005. I ask the Senator if he believes this kind of very large increase in taxes on small businesses would be wise in a time of economic slowdown?
