And is it not true--since Senator Reid has made his position crystal clear ideologically, and based on the actions the Senator from Texas and I have observed--that he has steadfastly resisted any change whatsoever in the legislation as passed, certainly any change that would constrict its power and reach?

I think that the protection of the innocents is always paramount, and I think that a humanitarian corridor must be established for those to leave so that they are not going to be subjected to conflict.
