I thought that a very gracious question of the author of unanimous consent, that we would vitiate the vote and 30 hours of debate. The Senator asked very little in exchange for it, other than to continue to talk.

This is an embarrassment, in my opinion, and I think the opinion of most people where I represent in Texas, that we are encouraging this behavior.
It is very apparent to me that competition is one of those factors that is not part of your equation for the marketplace.
I view that this Department is failing to protect this country, which is its core mission.
