“we believe that something should be done immediately; that this is about the worst performing route that has existed for year after year after year. And while I have great respect and appreciation, not only for the gentleman from Minnesota (Mr. Oberstar) and the gentleman from Pennsylvania (Mr. Shuster) to work towards this, we believe it's time for action. We believe that the worst performing route, one which not only underperforms from the number of passengers, but also costs taxpayers a lot of money, that we, as Members of Congress, should have a say about this. I will ask all Members to support this vote when it comes on the floor in this amendment.”
