I ask this Subcommittee to fully fund the Harbor Maintenance Trust Fund and put the highest priority on projects which have the biggest impact on our U.S. economy.

This may be the most important hearing this committee has in the 115th Congress because we are dealing with life and death.

I support Yucca Mountain for one simple reason: Yucca Mountain ensures that America is more secure from attacks by terrorists with radioactive weapons.

I am stunned that it has been decades since America has made a commitment to real, new nuclear power. We should be ashamed of that.
