Nicole Collier: “I refuse to sign. I will not agree to be in DPS custody.”

Today I woke up with a ‘fuck around and find out’ attitude and I’m gonna continue that throughout my service.

When I press that button to vote, I know these maps will harm my constituents — I won’t just go along quietly with their intimidation or their discrimination.

I refuse to sign away my dignity as a duly elected representative just so Republicans can control my movements and monitor me with police escorts.

We need Congress to act and we need them to act now. We are here in person because that`s how important it is to protect everyone`s freedom to vote. And we will keep fighting with everything we have.
