Well, not to fight for what you believe in is the more correct part. He could not have missed that mark in a worse way. It is exactly what a Texan is all about, to stand there and fight in the face of knowing they may not be able to win when they are attacked. The backs of the Texas legislators were against the wall. They decided to make a stand for it for the people of Texas, and I am awfully proud of every member who chose to leave Austin, Texas, temporarily. And they do not want to be gone from there. They have their work to do. They know they do. And they are most anxious to return. But they want to do it in a way they know their voices are going to be heard and so the voices of the people they represent will indeed be heard.
