I rise to speak about the children, not the 27 pictures that I hold in my hand right now, whose pictures were printed in the Houston Chronicle on Sunday, all of whom were abducted and most of whom have been found, unfortunately, dead. We have got to speak to the lives of the 114,500 children that the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children are trying to be the strong voice for and having them returned to their families. I think it is wrong for us to be playing politics with an issue as major as that of protecting our children. I find it very interesting that this is a day that we have so much interest on such a totally different issue. We need to put our kids first, Mr. Speaker.
