Let's have those kind of conversations as opposed to defending a loophole that allows some families in America to be treated differently.

Given the effectiveness of the Food for Peace Program, I believe, and the support from stakeholders, it is clear and important that we maintain that bipartisan effort.

We have a SNAP program. It is important, and we are going to keep it. The issue is, how do we administer that program that is fair to the folks who need the benefits and is also fair to the taxpayers?

We need to make sure that people that are unemployed, people that are having a tough time, have enough food to take care of their kids.
