Mike Conaway: “As a taxpayer myself, and as a steward of taxpayer dollars, I want the dollars that go toward SNAP to be well spent.”

We have a SNAP program. It is important, and we are going to keep it. The issue is, how do we administer that program that is fair to the folks who need the benefits and is also fair to the taxpayers?

Shame on us for allowing that to happen.

Other than authorizing an act of war, impeachment is the gravest item that we as a Congress can consider. The decision to move forward with impeachment of a United States President is so consequential that it has only been done three times…

I am all for that, but just to have an open-ended check I don't think is necessarily a good idea.
