Thank you for your leadership on behalf of America's farmers and ranchers, especially in such trying times.

I am all for that, but just to have an open-ended check I don't think is necessarily a good idea.

I am grateful we have a new farm bill in place and a President who constantly stands up for the very Americans who provide our food and fiber.

I share Chairman Peterson's concerns over hemp. I am worried we have opened Pandora's box.
