Patients deserve better than to receive bills they were not expecting for the care that they needed.

We want those cures to be put in the hands of doctors. They don't do any good if no one can afford them when they arrive.

It is an issue that has hit home in our districts and our states.

If there is anything upon which we should all agree, it is that the patient should be held harmless.
