I would submit that the volume of CFC that is released into the atmosphere from the contingent of asthma patients that uses an occasional rescue inhaler that they buy at 2:00 in the morning is vanishingly small and not responsible for the hole in the ozone layer.
Burgess argues that asthma inhalers' CFC emissions are negligible compared to ozone layer concerns.
