Well, I thank the gentleman for yielding and thank him for the recognition. The gentleman and I spent some time this afternoon up in the Rules Committee, a little hideaway up on the third floor of the Capitol. I don't think the air condition was working today. It is always an interesting time when you get to spend a little time in the Rules Committee. And we heard several people sort of lead off their soliloquies as they were talking and extolling the virtues of this bill and that it is going to try to come through the House tomorrow and they say we are going to go down in history. And I think the gentleman from Georgia said, and it certainly ran through my mind, I don't know if you are going to go down in history, but you are very likely to go down in November. With that, let me just refer--the gentleman talked about the people who have been here all day around the Capitol. And it has been impressive. And I think back to a year ago, my town halls, people were so frustrated with what they saw happening. They didn't know how bad it was going to get, but they were very frustrated with the direction they saw from this Congress and from this administration. And they kept saying, Well, we want to do something. What can we do? We want to stop this. We want you to stop this. And if you can't stop it, we want to stop it.…
