I just want to echo the gentleman's comments. This is very important. I am sorry that the gentleman was not able to offer his amendment. But we are talking about the fourth largest city in the Nation, the third largest county in the Nation. The fact is that there are other offices in smaller areas, smaller cities such as Miami, Albuquerque, where HUD has put the resources. We are not asking necessarily for additional staff but we are asking for the powers to address these problems, to ensure that the HUD programs are carried out properly and that we do not have the abuses like we have had with the title I program. I commend the gentleman for offering his amendment or speaking on it.
