the congressional leadership must know more about Whitewater than they are admitting. Why else would they be doing everything in their power to sweep under the rug anything related to Whitewater? Of course, on one hand you cannot blame them, because that is how they have handled investigations before. There was a House Post Office scandal, but no hearings. There was a House bank scandal, but no hearings. The congressional leadership has done one better than the storybook monkeys of see no evil, hear no evil, and speak no evil. To this group of three they have added a fourth monkey--hold no hearings. Hold no hearings is in charge of congressional oversight for the President who is in Whitewater, or for any Democrat who is in hot water. The President should tell the congressional leadership to quit monkeying around and hold hearings so we can have full disclosure now.
