I think the only scare we heard was the witness' claim that Republicans want to end Medicare as we know it.

I appreciate Mr. Reed's concern about the need to save Medicare. The clock is ticking. We need to act now, Republicans and Democrats.

But what we really need are 1,000 more doctors and nurses, not more IRS agents.
