“Madam Speaker, I appreciate and applaud the leadership of Mr. Camp on job-creating issues in this Congress. My friend from Washington is correct; there are no excuses on this bill. Democrat leadership has known for months that this would run out for those who need unemployment, and they did nothing. Now it's lapsed for 30 days, and the question is why. And there is no end in sight. Deficits are going to drag this economy down. It's going to put an anchor around the young people's necks, those of our children and grandchildren.
