The Attorney General’s father served this country with honor, and it’s outrageous that anyone seeking public office in the United States could use a father’s military service as a political attack.

It is outrageous that Talarico is attacking the Attorney General for growing up in a military family, claiming that if you weren’t born in Texas you aren’t a Texan.

Texans know this stretch of our border better than anyone in Washington. Destroying one of our state’s greatest natural treasures with unnecessary roads and barriers is not smart border security.

It’s easy to say I’d support a vote, but I would need to read the bill, find out exactly what it does, find out what protections are in there,
