Mr. Chair, this is a simple, commonsense amendment. Politicians should not get a free pass on the ridiculously high energy prices under the Biden administration. I choose to stand with my constituents. This amendment also reduces the cost of Federal spending within our branch of government and makes us more accountable to the constituents we represent. Mr. Chair, I urge my colleagues to support this amendment, and I yield back the balance of my time.
