As the war in Ukraine has shown us, it is critical that the United States has a warfighting inventory that is flexible, capable, and ready.

Republicans are working on policies that will grow and strengthen our economy. We will also find ways to reduce spending without impacting our Nation's defense, our commitment to our veterans, or the services that Americans depend upon.

I am disappointed by the Department's fiscal year 2023 budget request. Inflation continues to increase costs for all sections--sectors--and the defense industry is not immune to its effects.
