I continue to reserve the balance of my time. Ms. DeLAURO. Mr. Speaker, I yield 1 minute to the gentleman from Illinois (Mr. Danny K. Davis).

The President's budget proposes a percentage increase for defense. To put it simply, I don't think it enough to address current threats.

Republicans are working on policies that will grow and strengthen our economy. We will also find ways to reduce spending without impacting our Nation's defense, our commitment to our veterans, or the services that Americans depend upon.

The administration must reverse course on the situation, or it is going to get worse.
