I agree that cybersecurity is a very important national security issue. The scholarship program will help in attracting and retaining a cyber workforce. I appreciate the gentleman's dedication the issue. Mr. Chairman, I am prepared to accept the amendment, and I yield back the balance of my time.

The President's budget proposes a percentage increase for defense. To put it simply, I don't think it enough to address current threats.
Republicans are working on policies that will grow and strengthen our economy. We will also find ways to reduce spending without impacting our Nation's defense, our commitment to our veterans, or the services that Americans depend upon.
