I would like the president to live up to his word, yes.

I think these are two very resilient people. You have to remember that both Joe Wilson and Valerie Plame have probably been through far tougher situations in many ways. They both risked their life for their country.

I also think the president and the vice president owe the American people an explanation of exactly what, if any, their roles in this might have been.

At a bare minimum, I think it's incumbent upon the president and the vice president now to release the transcripts of their statements with the -- to the special prosecutor, so that we now have a fuller understanding of what they knew…
