Mr. Chairman, I rise as the designee of the gentleman from New York (Mr. Katko) to offer amendment No. 2. The CHAIR. The Clerk will designate the amendment. The text of the amendment is as follows: Page 1, line 12, insert the following (and redesignate subsequent subparagraphs accordingly): (A) by amending paragraph (2) to read as follows: ``(2) the term `incident' means an occurrence that actually or imminently jeopardizes, without lawful authority, the integrity, confidentiality, or availability of information on an information system, or actually or imminently jeopardizes, without lawful authority, an information system;''. The CHAIR. Pursuant to House Resolution 212, the gentleman from Texas (Mr. Ratcliffe) and a Member opposed each will control 5 minutes. The Chair recognizes the gentleman from Texas.
