Dr. DeBakey is an inventive genius. He is not only a physician, he is an engineer, an innovator, a surgeon, an educator, and the impact that he has had on medicine truly cannot be overstated. Many of the medical procedures we rely on today would truly not be available were it not for his groundbreaking efforts.
