I would like to reiterate that I agree with the gentleman from Georgia. This does not change existing law. It simply states that if you expect to receive Federal money, you need to be in compliance with Federal law. It is pretty straight up. The Acting CHAIR. The Chair is prepared to rule. The Chair finds that this amendment includes language requiring a new determination as to the status of local law.
