If there’s not enough votes to confirm him, then Senator Grassley might decide to postpone it. But I don’t think that’s the No. 1 goal right now.
If this were just between me and Todd Blanche, we would have worked this out, but, apparently, he’s getting some pushback from higher-ups at the White House. I don’t know who, but it doesn’t need to be this hard.
I think that’s a real danger. And I think in any election, it’s not enough to disparage your opponent. You got to talk about the positive things that you’re doing for people.
