John Cornyn: “This claim is laughable.”

That's a convenient excuse, and it happens to be untrue.

My constituents believe that the 1,000-foot riverbank cliffs and remote Big Bend terrain offers its own sources of deterrence for any illegal migrants crossing into the United States.

I don’t know whether they think they can wait us out or … we’ll cave. But I assure you, we won’t.

If this were just between me and Todd Blanche, we would have worked this out, but, apparently, he’s getting some pushback from higher-ups at the White House. I don’t know who, but it doesn’t need to be this hard.
