My constituents believe that the 1,000-foot riverbank cliffs and remote Big Bend terrain offers its own sources of deterrence for any illegal migrants crossing into the United States.

This is unfortunately shaping up to be a close and I hope not disastrous election.

You can have the best candidate in the world. You can have all the money in the world, but if you’re not running on issues that people care about, then you’re not going to win.
