This amendment would waive deportation for aggravated felons. It would result in a green card, irrespective of legalization, requiring no payment of taxes, no requirement of learning English, and no fine. I believe it would result in the legalization of roughly 6 million individuals under this standard contained in this amendment. I urge my colleagues to vote ``no'' on this amendment.
